The Director of OEHHA will introduce the work of our Office on environmental justice and racial equity, and its implications for state, regional, and local governments. A critical area of focus is the cumulative burden of environmental pollution and the vulnerabilities that the populations of different California communities face. CalEnviroScreen is a tool to assess potential cumulative impacts from pollutants that can assist decision-makers to prioritize resources to reduce burdens in the highly impacted communities.
