DENNIS KARIDIS, Supervising Environmental Specialist - Sacramento County EMD

I was a CUPA evaluator with the California Environmental Protection Agency from 2001-2005 and have been an Environmental Specialist/Supervising Environmental Specialist with Sacramento County Environmental Management Department (EMD) from 2005-present. My current duties include supervising EMD's incident response team, enforcement program, California Accidental Release Prevention (CalARP) program, and hazardous materials/waste programs. I am an alternate on the CUPA Forum Board (CFB) representing the Bay Area region. As a CFB member I co-chair the CalARP and Enforcement steering committee's and participate in a number of other working/advisory groups.

Marjorie Terrell, Hazardous Materials Program Supervisor, San Mateo County Environmental Health. Marjorie co-manages the CUPA Program for San Mateo County, which consists of 13 field inspectors and 2 program supervisor. Marjorie oversees the Hazardous Waste, Tier Permitting, Underground Storage Tank, Aboveground Storage Tank, as well as CUPA Enforcement. Outside of CUPA she manages the stormwater and waste tire inspection programs.

Monica Ronchetti, Deputy Fire Marshal/CUPA Manager, San Bernardino County Fire, Office of the Fire Marshal. I manage the operations and activities of both the Hazardous Materials Division and the Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Division. I manage a team of approximately 60 employees. My responsibilities include the development, oversight and implementation of goals and objectives for the Divisions; assist in the development of the Division budget; monitor expenditures; resolve budget issues; recommend new or revised programs and policies; coordinate division activities with federal, state, counties, and cities as well as other divisions, departments, and organizations; analyze proposed and pending legislation and make recommendations based in program and operational impact; conduct or direct special projects and studies pertaining to various administrative and operational challenges.

Nick Crain has been with the Riverside County Department of Environmental Health for over 13 years and has over 15 years of experience in the field of hazardous materials. He is currently the CUPA program manager for Riverside County. Nick also represents Southern California on the CUPA Forum Board, serving as a co-Issue Coordinator for the Hazardous Waste program.

Nick Vent Retired Supervising Environmental Health Specialist Active instructor specializing in all aspects of Hazardous Materials incidents For these submitals I will be representing Spectral Labs, Inc in San Diego and Sustainable Workplace Alliance in Lake Wales Florida. My workplace is any location that will allow me to help them. Which currently includes Agencies, Industry and Hospitals in San Diego County and all 50 State and US Territories. In retirement I travel the world enjoying new experiences and locals whenever possible. Attempting to combine teaching classes with new travel locations. There is a lot of this country still to see.

Susan Psara is the Hazardous Waste Reduction Manager for Contra Costa County's Hazardous Materials Program. Susan manages a Pollution Prevention and Green Business Program that assist small to large sized businesses implement environmentally sustainable business practices that reduce pollution, conserve natural resources, minimize climate impact and improve community engagement. As a part of the Green Business Program Susan manages stakeholder partner relations (including regulatory agencies, utilities, cities and County staff) who provide technical expertise and program support. Susan also collaborates with County staff on equity, sustainability and climate policy initiatives.
