He is a CSTI Certified Hazardous Materials Specialist and oversees the CUPA Programs, Site Mitigation, Emergency Response and the Household Hazardous Waste Programs at Stanislaus County. CYNDI GILL, Staff Services Manager I - DTSC Cyndi Gill is a data and communications analyst for the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC). She works in DTSC's Office of Environmental Information Management in the ID Number and Manifest Unit. She performs a wide variety of consultative and analytical assignments related to hazardous waste ID number processing and management and manifest data processing. She is the lead for DTSC's annual ID Number Verification Questionnaire and conducts trainings on the topic throughout the year. |

DENNIS KARIDIS, Supervising Environmental Specialist - Sacramento County EMD I was a CUPA evaluator with the California Environmental Protection Agency from 2001-2005 and have been an Environmental Specialist/Supervising Environmental Specialist with Sacramento County Environmental Management Department (EMD) from 2005-present. My current duties include supervising EMD's incident response team, enforcement program, California Accidental Release Prevention (CalARP) program, and hazardous materials/waste programs. I am an alternate on the CUPA Forum Board (CFB) representing the Bay Area region. As a CFB member I co-chair the CalARP and Enforcement steering committee's and participate in a number of other working/advisory groups. |

She has over 20 years of experience in the Unified Program. She currently supervises 15 dynamic inspection staff who are responsible for implementation of the Certified Unified Program. Kristen is an active member of the California CUPA Forum. She was the CUPA Forum Board Chair in 2015/2016. At this time, Kristen is focusing on her responsibilities as the Statewide Training Issue Coordinator and Co-Chair of the Annual Unified Program Training Conference. |

MARK MOSS, EM Manager - El Dorado County EMD Mark Moss began his career path upon graduating from California State University Northridge (CSUN) in 1991 with Bachelors in Environmental and Occupational Health. He started work as an Environmental Health and Safety consultant for an insurance carrier that specialized in educational institutions, but was laid off within two years. As any unemployed soul in the early 90s trying to re- enter the employment market without any luck, he decided grad school was in order, Mr. Moss continued his graduate education at CSUN. In December 1994, Mr. Moss completed the program and earned his MS in Health Science/ Environmental and Occupational Health. In 1995, Mr. Moss was hired in the capacity of a Hazardous Materials Specialist with the Los Angeles County Fire Department Health Haz-Mat division. Mr. Moss worked in the inspections section and emergency response section until 2006. In early 2006 he moved his family to El Dorado, California and began work as a Hazardous Materials /Recycling Specialist with the County of El Dorado Environmental Management Department. Over the years Mr. Moss has moved up within the organization and now holds the position of Environmental Management, Manager where he oversees the CUPA, and solid waste programs along with a waste water treatment plant and a partially closed landfill. |
